{{{pam}}} Just want to give ya a big hug, as I understand that depression. Making one small step like the Gym will probably make you feel a bit better. I work on fridays and saturdays and its a very physical job. I know I always feel better when I work because of the excercise, and I'm so busy, it keeps my mind off of everything.

((pam))

You sound like me yesterday. I cried all darn day and my meds are NOT helping w/my depression. I have failed AGAIN with ds potty issues. My goodness he'll be 4 in July. I am heart sick over NO family support for me (dh works and it's me me me). I have NO inhome help due to the fact that I still have to be here so what's the point? I put in other play groups to compisate for that. Sigh~~~~~~~~~~~~
On tope of that I am getting sick and just wanna go to couch and just fade out.

(((((HUGS))))), everyone!!!

I have not had respite so I don't know about finding the workers, but just let go of caring whether people find your house in a mess. You need help, get it! Once you've had some breaks, you may feel up to cleaning your house some.

And ASD kids often have potty trouble, mine wasn't trained until almost 5. They get it when they get it and not one second sooner -- Nora, 3 is very young, even for some NT kids. Stress can bring problems back. I know it is very hard, I know, but not an indication of YOUR failure, at all.

When YOU are getting stressed out, their needs and struggles getting on your nerves --- time to get much more mommy time, down time, breaks, any way you can. They need you to be able to be objective, rested, ready to help. Gotta do it.

And now I need to go take my own advice....

Pam, Big (((HUGS))))

Sorry you are so down. You vent here all you want. Ya know it isn't always the earth-shattering stuff that is the worst, it is the persistant, constant stuff that drains our resources. At least with earth shattering quick emergencies our adreneline helps us through even if we pay for it later, but the chronic stuff or emergencies that go on too long, that is the stuff that really wears down your defenses.

You definitely have to find a way to rejuvenate that works for you. This is a marathon that is impossible without the right support. Heck even the best marathon runner counts on that person on the side lines to hand out the occasional water.

I hope you find that water soon.
