And all the boys did fabulous!

Nathan and this other little boy played and even talked. They still did parallel play at times. But did great. We had no agruements, no fits, no disagreements. YEAH!!!

Tyler played with the little boys's brother. They were on the Playstation the whole time! But it provided interaction for all of them, and no pressure to talk if they didn't want too! They stayed for 2hrs!!!

Nathan seems fine. When I ask him if he had a great time, he says yes. He even smiled at me and said it was easy. THEN I ASKED HIM IF HE WANTED TO DO IT AGAIN......he said NO.

OOKKKAAAYYYY!!!!!! Tyler wants to do it again...he had a great time, and made a new friend! Nathan, still prefers to be alone! lol He was very sweet though when they left. He said, "See you at school...bye.."

HOORAY NATHAN! Too funny he said "NO" on another playdate, but change is hard and the ideas in his head may take awhile to change, too. But that is a super great start, all the way around!!!! And he really may change his mind with practise.

And hooray for Mommy, too. Good job.

I am so happy to hear about the great playdate!

TWO HOURS?!?! That's fab! And that's longer than I can take for even a typical playdate with the mom present (unless she's a good buddy).

Congrats to you and your "playdaters"!

Oh, that's great! I'm glad it went well. I think when we have the time and remember to prepare our kids for things it helps them so much. It's true it's the stuff we worry about that turns out okay and the stuff we think is going to go smoothly, and we don't prepare them for, that they seem to have trouble with (well, my kids anyway).

I think the anticipation of how hard it's going to be sometimes is worse for them than actually doing it. What a nice step forward!
