Something funny I just had to share

Lily said something the other day that I just had to share. You know the Scholastic DVD videos with Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Harold & the Purple Crayon, etc on them? Well, Lily was watching one of them and there was a story on it called "Trashy Town". It's about a cartoon garbage man named Mr. Gilly and his typical day in collecting the town's trash. Well, at the very end of it, the narrator says how Mr. Gilley is very dirty at the end of his work day and needs to take a bath to clean up. The last scene is of Mr. Gilly sitting in a tub full of bubbles up to his chin. Of course, in typical preschooler fashion, Lily has to focus on the "naked" man in the bathtub. It doesn't show anything of course, but she was focusing on that none the less. The funny part was when she kept saying "Can I watch the trashy movie with the naked man?" It was just sooo hilarious! I kept thinking that my luck she would go to school the next day and tell her teacher about how she watched the trashy movie with the naked man! I made sure I told the teacher/aides that I was not letting my daughter watch porn! Lily is always keeping us laughing with all of her one liners, but this one has still got me chuckling. Just had to share!

ROFLMAO!

What would have been funnier is for her to ask in public and for you to respond, oh yes honey you can watch the trashy man when we get home." THAT would have turned some heads!

Oh Amy! That is one of the funniest things I've ever heard a kid saying! You're smart for giving the teacher/aid a "heads up." We live in such a paranoid society these days, that you never know how something will be percieved! Anyway, thanks for sharing and making me laugh.
