Son blames others for his actions

Hi all,
Just wanted to share some common phrases from my 5 year old and see if anyone else can relate:
"You're making me act grouchy"
"You made me do that"
"You made me act like that"
Is this just a PDD/Aspergers thing??

No. This is a Being Five thing :-) (I used to teach preschool and we heard this *a lot*). Applies, in my house, to 40 year olds too who should know better :-)

After another "It was an accident!" moment with our son, my husband and I decided to play a game of "accident" or "on purpose" with him. If he answered the scenario correctly, he got a sticker on his card. He loved it! AND... tonight he did tell me he did something "on purpose" b/c he was "really mad".... Progress! :)
