That is fabulous Tina!

I am so glad Bobby has made such great improvement with his speech. Fantastic! That was Cait at that age. She couldn't pick up something off the floor and hand it to me if I asked even if I was right there pointing and by the time she was 5 she was asking all kinds of questions and having conversations and following 3 step directions.

Now she is in the other room saying "Dont kick me Emily! Emily Stop it!" in a totally NORMAL teen whiner voice then a big laugh and "Geez, Emily". It is a beautiful thing to hear, lol.

Dear Tina,

Yes, that is just great!! Congratulations to you both. It's wonderful when you can have great conversations with your kid, and even more wonderful when THE EVAL NUMBERS SHOWS HUGE PROGRESS!!!! Proof you can show to others, see, treatment does work. HURRAY!!!

I still remember when Malcolm was struggling with putting his thoughts into words (even though he HAD lots of words, expressive language came slowly). NOW Malcolm talks about those days, how much he loved his therapeutic preschool and therapists -- but Mom, that university speech clinic you made me go to in the afternoons was so BORING and why did I make him go???? He HATED it there. Ooops, sorry. I remind him that he didn't tell me this at the time. DUH, Mom, I couldn't really TALK!

LOL
