What sports do your kids play?

Do they enjoy them or just "do them"

Who's idea was it to do each sport?

He did play on a team this fall.  It was good for him, but boy it was hell for me, the one hour game time felt like forever particularly when he refused to listen or misunderstood a call, but they loved him because he was so good. I was also grateful that one of older kids became his mentor and tried helping him when he couldn't focus, but it was hard -- I felt like I was in a spotlight with my son who is unpredictable.

What sports do your kids play?

Nathan Swims, he did play soccer a little bit when he was younger, never really liked it

Do they enjoy them or just "do them"

He seems to enjoy them, he is very good at swimming and is one of the better swimmers on the team, I think he likes it because its something he can do without having to do a lot with the other swimmers, although he does like to be on a relay team

Who's idea was it to do each sport?

It was Nathan's idea, he older sister had been swimming for 2 years & he was very content to just hang out in the play room. Then he suddenly anounced he was going to swim too. I was supprised because this is the same child that had spent 6 years in Pike with a Parent, not because he coudln't do it, but because he wouldn't do it without me. I told him to be on swim team you had to put your face in the water (he was swimming vertically) he said he was going to, after a few "preswim team" classes with the coach me in the water he tried it. after a week or so he realized he was the only one with his face out of the water, so he forced himself to do it, and he became my fish! he had 2 top 16 Finishes at States this year!
