Hi gals,
It is always too good to last, last night was Nick's pre-k graduation. We knew he wouldn't do the program, he sat with us. The class does a processional, sings a song, says a poem, gets their diploma and we have cake and punch. Of course Nick gets way too stimulated, the kids are all running around, Nick is way over-stimulated and is just crazy. It only lasted about an hour and we go home. At home Nick wants to be outside which is fine, but when it is time to come in, he huffs at dh and takes off into the neighbors yard hiding from us. DH finally has to chase him down and pick him up, Nick is fighting him the whole way, crying for me, then he gets mean, dh leaves to go get gas and Nick wants to go after dh trying to hit him, mad that he made him come inside. I have to hold him so he wouldnt unlock the gate. Now all of a sudden he wants dh and is sad he left. So I swing him on the swing, he wants to swing high, which makes him forget. We go inside and he is much better now. DH is home now, Nick apologizes and watches his show before bedtime. DH takes him to bed and he finally falls asleep at about 9:45. This is what happens when you forget to give your son his clonidine! I forgot as I was trying to get his dinner and get him dressed and dh forgot to remind me...BIG FAT THANKS...(can you feel the aggravation?) :)

Christine,
UGH! A graduation ceremony AND a missed med is a lethal combination.
