David turned the big ONE-OH on the 20th of November, but we just had his party today.

Pomegranate jelly?

I'm sorry but I am LMAO here at this desk, getting funny looks from Peter as I type.

Well, in all fairness to my dad, I should point out that it was his own homemade jelly, from pomegranates off of a tree in his backyard...and the jelly was for the whole family, not just David.

Congrats on the party! Sounds like a fair success. I hate parties too.

Your dad, well the thought was there but all I keep thinking is apples don't fall far from trees but maybe they skipped a generation. He sounds like the genetic aspie link in your family, lol.

LoL,

OK Home-grown, homemade pomegranate jelly is much better than a jar he picked up at Target (which is what I envisaged).

And the mention of pomegranates reminded me that I had a nice big juicy one in the fridge. So my DD and my scurvy self munched on it last night and turned our fingers red.

Thanks for that. Otherwise

ROFLOL! Evelyn, your family is the best or worst! at least from my vantage point it's pretty funny, tho I do understand the hesitation to want to research and tell the teachers.
