Sorry I haven't been posting lately. We've been very busy since school got out a couple of weeks ago. We've been visiting my side of the family and my dh and I were able to go to San Antonio for a whole week without the girls! Our hotel was only a couple of blocks from the riverwalk. Dh had a work seminar so he had classes during the day, but in the evenings we were able to enjoy the riverwalk together. I enjoyed sleeping in every day, watching movies at the hotel, seeing the sites, and shopping while he was in class. Best of all, the hospital he works for covered the hotel and his food, so our expense for the trip was minimal. I feel bad that my dh probably didn't have as much fun as me, but I have to admit that it was really great to get a break from everything! When we picked up Natalie and Lily, my parents and aunt (who took turns keeping them while we were gone) said they were both very well behaved and everyone enjoyed having them stay. That was such great news! I was so afraid that they would have their usual sibling squabbles or that Lily would go into overload from her routine being disrupted. This Wednesday we'll be leaving for our family vacation. We're going to go stay in a cabin and go tubing on the Frio River. I used to go there as a kid with my family and I'm hoping that the girls and my dh enjoy it as much as I did. I'm a bit worried about Lily and the water, but we've been talking it up for a couple of months and she seems genuinely excited about going. She has changed so much lately and has many more good days than bad, so hopefully this vacation won't be too much for her to handle. I'll let you all know how it goes. I hope you're all having a great summer so far!

Wow, sounds like a load of fun. So glad the girls did so well at your families when you were gone. We are going camping in a cabin next week as well. I am hopeful yet anxious about how it will go. Let me know how yours goes.
