AutismLink, in conjunction with the Duquesne University School of Education, presents:
"Socially Speaking: A Window on the World of Autism"
August 1-2, 2006
Pittsburgh, PA
Featuring: Dr. Temple Grandin, Sean Barron, Rebecca Moyes
Join us as we enter into the social world of an individual with autism spectrum disorder. See the world through their eyes, and learn to see things from their perspective. Learn about how individuals with autism socially navigate through a neurotypical world, and as educators, professionals and parents, how to best understand the social deficits inherent in autism spectrum disorders.
This inexpensive conference will take place on the Duquesne University campus, 600 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15282. The conference will be in the Ballroom, located on the 4th floor of the Duquense Union. For easiest access, enter the Ballroom from the rear of the building.
10 hours of Act 48 credits are available.
