THANKS Uncle Jim for the new obsession!

Went to my BIL and SIL's for Thanksgiving. They live on a quiet culdesac in a gated community. Thier house and yard are small so the idea was for the kids to bring thier bikes and such and play out front. Great idea!

Well Uncle Jim decides to take the kids on a bike ride adventure. GREAT! Only see we can't do this at our house. We live in a nice neighborhood but our street is a big hill and lots of teens use my street to cut through to the other main street. Not safe for Aspie bike riders.

So Mike is now OBSESSED with bike riding. He woke me at 5am today to find out when we could go. Which involves the car, loading bikes and finding a place. Oh and he HAD to have a new helmet.

So all day I have the autistic one following me obsessing on a dang helmet and when are we going bike riding. To the point of near meltdown. I took him to get the new helmet (big BMS one with a face guard for $40 bucks was the ONLY one that would do) which he wore ALL DARN DAY. But didn't get a chance to go riding. I hear we are going tomorrow.

I think he is sleeping in the dang helmet. Just what I needed with a month to go before christmas.

I am SOOOOO going to kill Jim.

I guess it's a Jim thing.

Remember I told you I was going to feel like crap yesterday, after eating yummy stuff at Thanksgiving?
