Very cool! I think I saw parts of that 20/20 special but not that particular segment.

I too am not in any way religious but believe in the benefits of meditation. My H experimented with Zen Budhism for a few years and I know daily meditating helped his focus and state of mind tremendously. I also took Yoga classes for a couple of years before my DD was born and I miss it terribly. I just don't have the time or energy these days, (bad excuse, I know). Maybe I should start a program with my DD at home.

I am fascinated with brain physiology in general and am interested in reading up on how it is "different" in individuals with ASD. Hopefully, the more research that is done with MRI technology can help us better understand what is going on physically in our kids' brains.
