"There was a monster in my head"

Okay,I need some help figuring this one out, so I can give an explanation to school tomorrow.
Emma had a horrible day today. The kind of day that makes me wonder how much longer they'll keep her at daycare.
According to the teacher Emma was sent from her classroom to the school age room because she was being distruptive during nap time. Once in the school age room she began throwing a fit and worked her way to the window. She began hitting her head on the window, licking the window and kicking the window. She then tried to open the window (not possible due to bars, but still unsafe). Was sent downstairs and did well helping the younger children.
Emma and I discussed this on the way home and out of the blue she cried "But there was something in my head and I didn't know what it was." We talked about it. I had her draw a picture about it and this is the conclusion we've come to:
Upon leaving her classroom Emma looked out the window and a monster entered her head and chased her around in her head. She was trying to open the window to let the wind into her head and get the monster out.
Any thoughts on what the monster could be, and what we do about it in case he comes back?

Brook,
first of all removing an asd child from their comfort zone and then throwing them into an older room that she's not familiar with...no wonder she melted. As for the monster in the head. Have you experienced comments about this before? I ask as (and this really is a long shot, I could and am probably very off base here) auditory and visual hallucinations can be symptoms of a mood disorder.
Is there a way daycare could document what occurs before her behaviors (especially the disruption during nap time, as if this was contained better it wouldn't necesarily have come to this). Perhaps next time she isn't in nap mode (Lord knowws neither of my boys were), they can let her "help" the little kids again, instead of shlepping her off to a room that she will lose it in.

I've not heard of the monster before. I asked if she'd had a monster in her head before and she said no.
The more I think about it, I almost wonder if she didn't have a headach. She went from a dark, quiet room to a loud well lit room and looked out the window (on a very sunny day). For a kid that's already sensitive to sound and light that could cause a headache.
As far as the room goes, she likes the school age room usually, as there's a good teacher in there.
I'm thinking about trying to get them to have her in the school age room on a more full time basis because she never takes naps any more. She feels she needs to "Practice for Kindergarten."
Brook,
You could be right on about the headache. I get bad
