Thanks Evelyn.
Thanks for the info.
Well, when you think about it, massage helps with stress.
Victor growled A LOT when he was younger. His was totally stress. Kids would bombard him wanting to play, or would pick on him because he wouldn't play and his answer was to growl. When I asked him why he did it he said "But Momma, when a dog is mad, he growls, why can't I?" We had to discuss that because humans have words, that's why we can't growl, but I was able to start watching and seeing what the cues were before he growled and he stopped it. Just thought I'd let you know, you're not the only one with a growler.
You know, I may be weird (well, that's a given), but getting a massage has no appeal
I think I have a growler too, but his sounds more of a guteral (p?) caveman type of sound when my son is stressed.
Don't know if that is the same with a growl....
Evelyn, I don't think your weird LOL!!!
Evelyn,
I'm exactly the same: A friend gave me a gift of a spa treatment, and I had to ask her to return it. Wild horses could not drag me to a spa.
visit my blog at www.onesickmother.com
Tom is a bit of a growler too.
