Toddler harness?

So I'm travelling to Ireland next weekend, and I have Cian and Roan in tow....yes with just lil ole me....and yes I need my head examined!!!

Anyhoo, today in the mall I realised why we don't go to the mall, and especially not on a rainy Saturday....duh. Liam actually wasn't bad, it was Cian...ugh. I swear he was a ninja in a former life...the boy is stealth on wheels. Now add that to crowded mass, and me being distracted by smaller child...yes I was in pieces by the end of the outing. So I am considering buying one of those toddler harnesses for the airport; the backpacks that look like a stuffed a animal. I may even get one for Roan, although she's only 16 months nd they recommend 18 months plus.

Anyone else use them?

Dee

Hey Dee good luck with your trip

Yes use the harnees/lease. I have used it. Make sure if you are traveling to get a nonstop flight that does not require a stopover or a connecting (I am assuming if you are internatianl flying that could be a problem but the stopove/connecting Flight would probably be at JFK). But I would bring the sit and stand stroller not the umbrella. Only because it might be easier to contain the younger 2 kids. You show have no problem bringing the stroller right up to the gate and then they will label the stroller and stash it underneath for you and bring it up to you at the other end of the flight. Be willing even to provide a large tip to a steward would could help a Mom with her kids..

I don't know about the carry on stuff any more the rules keep changing. But I think the small juice boxes may be okay. But have each child carry his own back pack with the stuff other people suggested plus it may not hurt to have a change of clothes. Make yourself responsible for the lovies that you don't want to lose. But toys, older clothes, books etc that idf you do lose.. can be in thekids back packs.

Also Most airlines have the rules .. Kids and moms with the young kids get to go on 1st usually. If you think you might be better offlast then tell them to wait till the very last minute to board you. Also premedicate! Remember the times where the kids will feel the worse is when the plane goes up or down. And if they don't chew gum or suck paccies it could be a problem with

I agree with everything that everyone said but to add one thing. If they don't let you on first because of having small kids, be sure to tell them of Cian's dx. Kids with Autism, ADHD, etc.. get to get on first because these kids need to settle to their surroundings before the take off.
