For the past two days, Haley has come home from school with notes from the teacher (in their planner notebook) saying that Haley is constantly talking and is annoying others. I'm not quite sure how to read that. The teacher has proven to be nice and is really good about keeping me posted on how Haley's doing. But the comment about annoying others just kind of ruffles my feathers a little.
Yet I do understand that it gets a bit frustrating when she won't stop talking. We frequently have this problem at home. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help her control her talking? I've tried telling her that she needs to keep the chatter in her head rather than out loud but it really doesn't help. The constant chatter isn't really about anything in particular... just random.
Thanks!
