I found on a school cafeteria lunch program's website --http://www.naturalovens.com/

Jumping in late here. I haven't really read all of the replies either, just skimmed through.

The enzymes just caught me eye and I had to share this success story. A couple in the local support group I'm in have a 6 yr old with autism. He is severly affected. They started enzymes in November I believe. Their little boy is very sensitive so they've only worked up to one whole capsule a day of the Dr. strenth Enzymedica enzymes. Well he said his first word, Hi, 2 weeks ago and at school they think he said please!!!! I'm just so thrilled for them.

This has been a great thread to read. The second I read some real documented scientifically studied data about chelation and other high-metal proof of cause and effective treatment, well, I'll be there. But I am not messing with that unless I see more data... like many of the therapies out there ... if you have something that works, why wouldn't you document it?

We are also starting the enzymes. We had Malcolm on GFCF for several years when he was younger and then slowly started to allow him to stray occassionally without too much evidence that this was a problem. However, I remember how his behavior and demeanor suddenly became so much clearer and happier when we first started the elimination diet, so I think about going back. But now I don't think we could bear making him give up real NYC pizza once a week, cuz he LIVES for it. So I am planning to order the enzymes myself and trying those out, why not.

We know one boy who is strict GFCF and he is allowed a very occasional cheat with enzymes. He is doing great, and this is a boy who used to turn into a roaring beast if he got milk or wheat, I saw it with my own 2 eyes!
