BTW I saw it, and Bill Cosby was really slow in his talking.... I wish he would of gotten to his point at times.

The doctor, I felt was kinda off on a few things... she (I think) called it a disease... I was disapointed in hearing it was a disease.

I was pleased to hear the Pres of Autismspeaks say that often times you need to go with your gut as a mom and sometimes get 2nd, even 3rd opinions.

Ed Asner and his wife has a child that has Aspergers (who noticed the stress between them?), and I was happy to see the guy who was the boss on the movie Mozart and the Whale on the show.

I'm glad I saw it, but I thought it was okay, as I felt it was all rushed.

My DH said the same thing!
Then again they could run a 3 hr special and still not cover all the facts. I felt ok with it, gain sorry for Toni Braxton--she's only been in this since September 2006.
I expect A LOT of media this month since it's Autism Awareness month.
I acturally didn't know the 1-94 boys ration!!!!

The doctor was ok, but nothing impressive. I was into the Autism Speacks co-CEO and her passion behind finding the reasons "why" this is robbing our children of a normal life.
I also hated the fact the doctor called our children's issues a "disease".
Diseases are treatable and most are curable, we have a nuero disorder problem.
God I hate how that was viewed, and being a mom who has a ASD child you are automatically on the defenceive.
