My NT child of mine...my 5 yr old Sierra has decided that 'farting' is the most funniest and greatest thing in the world. She does it every chance she has. eeeerrrrr She's been doing this for the past few days & nothing I say stops her. She is all giggles about it. Though at times it is funny or at least her explanations on why she did it can be at times. Like last night after she got out of the bath tub...she proudly says "I farted in the bath tub." Of course I tell her we shouldn't. She states "but Mommy, I like to fart and when I farted there was bubbles that came out of the water." giggle giggle Just had to roll my eyes and walk into the other room hiding my smile. All I can say is I just hope her fascination doesn't carry over during school time. Kids...gotta love them....farts and all. LOL!

Tell her young ladies don't fart.
Who is her idol at the moment? Ask her does she think that they fart?
Remind her you'll tell her boyfriend one day that she farts.....
My son is 3 and thinks it's the funniset thing in the world when his dad farts....
I just sigh.................

LOL...I ran that line "young ladies don't fart" across her already. She didn't fall for it. Oh well, I know it is just a phase. I just hope for a short phase. haha

**nods** My 4yo NT DD has been doing the same thing lately. She thinks it's the funniest thing in the world. What's worse is that with her physical disability she has to keep her legs lotioned up and she's realized in the last week that if she lotions her butt cheeks too her farts are louder... **headdesk**

Welcome to the board BTW.
Rina is smarter than I am. I didn't figure out we have another Long islander here until she said it.

Well Paula and Rina, guess we wouldn't have to go far for an offline meeting :) Meet up in Melville or something. Anyway, I'm in western Suffolk, in the middle of you two probably. Grew up near where Rina is, went to Middle Country Schools.
Nice to know I'm not the only LI'er around! Wish I came here earlier as I battled my school district for my older one... Hopefully my journey will finish next week at a CSE meeting. I'll go into details in another message tomorrow I hope. It'll be a long "grab a cup of coffee first" type of post. *sigh*
Oh my gosh!! I went to Newfield!!! How scary is that! If you graduated in 1983 you might know who i am. If you graduated in 1987 you might have known my sister.
Look at my name again if you know those years then trust me you probably would know me.. scary coming back to haunt you..lol
