hi everyone,
since my last post iv'e been on the phone most of the time.
iv'e got appt to see 3 schools on friday, all willing to take my ds and all can provide the support he needs.
didn't tell you in my first post, but ds complained of a sore finger later on that day, when i looked his finger nail was black and half the nail was missing.ds forgot to tell me that the teacher had slammed the door only to trap his finger in it.then lock the door.now even more angry!!!!!!
also found out that son doesn't have an ibp,so any action that had been done i hadn't agreed to.
also found out that all his exclusions have been illegal, not had them in writing so cannot go on his record.
i'll try to update on friday after school search.
thanks for all of your replies.

Oh Yvonne,
They will just never get it. I would seriously go down to your police station and file a formal report. That is abuse and it was physical and so wrong.
Thank goodness you have found schools that can help. He needs to be out of that h**lhole asap. I would find a way to hurt that school however you can, police report, formal complaints, to all the way up to the Board of Education, etc. If one person stands up, there may be others. I would find it hard to believe that your son was the first that this has happened to. Hugs to you and your family.
