Michelle,

I wonder if it is a routine/jetlag kind of thing? How many timezones did you jump?

At home, what do you usually do around (or before) the time when she beceomes weepy? I mean at the adjusted time?

If that is not it: My other thought is hunger or low blood sugar. Try giving her a snack about 30 minutes before she usually gets this way, and see if that helps.

Hey allll.

Please refer to my post a couple of days back about vacationing with an aspie. We just came back from our vacation last Thursday. Josh didn't get weepy. But he did get moody at times where he just wanted to be left alone. He just wanted to do what he wanted to do.
And he is quite capable of sucking the life out of a good time if he is not doing what his mind is fixated on.
I think you need to be able to build in down time when you go away on vacation. Time to allow all to just be.
Also talk to your DH to see if depending on what you are doing to see if you can split time between the 2 girls so they can each do something tey want and the one not interested can well do something else with the other parent..

Just remember part of vacation is the fear of the unknown. It drives Josh not to know what is going to happen next. And he needs to knwo when dinner is and what we are doing, which can be hard when you are on vacation. But if you can build some resemblance of a scedule into your vacation world it can help too

Good luck
