Yesterday morning Liam was in a very literal frame of mind, can't think abstractly and he had a mini meltdown about taking the bus to school (he thought we were just going to say goodbye to the driver, (my bad, I wasn't clear enough for him as I meant he would be riding the bus too).

(((((DEE)))))))

I am so sorry. That is such a rough day. I understand, done that one too often and it rots each and every time for loads and loads of reasons.

Have some wine or a good guiness. Wish you had joined us in chat but I hope you get a better day tomorrow.

Dee,

I wonder about that too. If Nathan will find someone that understands him as well as I do. The good days and the bad days. Always the unexpected.

Sending out some hugs!!

The other mother doesn't sound very nice at all by saying he couldn't come back if he kept that up. I really dislike it when third parties think they can fix my DS with a good dose of discipline.

I'm sorry for the whole scene. I'm trying to find spectrum friends for my son. The parents of NT kids do not get it. I gave up on the NT friends a few years ago. One mother, in particular, used my son's issues to feel better about herself as a parent.
