I was reading the checklist post and remembered something I saw last week that I wanted to share with you. I can't remember if I saw it in a magazine or on tv. Anyway the Mom made cards about 4X4" with a picture of each step in the bedtime routine. On the back of the card was a star or smilely face. She laminated them and punched a hole in the top. Then she hung them on the wall with hooks in a row at the childs level. When the child did a step in the routine then he flipped over the card showing the star. I thought it looked very cool.

I think someone here posted this link before http://www.setbc.org/pictureset/Default.aspx for some visual checklist print outs. I've used a few of them and like them, esp since I'm not creative enough to make my own.

(Even tho' my kids can use the toilet properly by themselves, I printed out one of the bathroom routine picture sets that I posted in the bathroom in the hopes that as the kids looked at it they'd be reminded to wash hands after using the toilet. One of the pictures is of someone throwing away their used paper towel. My 3yo interpreted the wadded up paper towel to be a picture of a marshmallow and announced, "they want us to eat marshamallows!")
