"Voices in head" when to worry?

We are having so much stuff going on with Eric right now that I am having a hard time separating what to worry about and what not to worry about.

Mike's OCD stuff did get better after grade 4 BUT and a big big BUT his stressors were greatly reduced by then. We had pulled him from the mainstream classes until mid 4th grade, he had a 1:1 aide, we did away with medications in mid 3rd grade, we did away with many of the outside activities that were stressing him out too.
So while the behaviors did decrease I think a large part was decreasing things which were making him anxious. In addition we were able to teach him some coping strategies as well.
Now it isn't perfect. Right now he is the repetitive, Flap-happy, line repeating, noise making, hyper, master. It is driving my DH buggy. He still has certain routines he has to finish a certain way, but he doesn't worry about stepping on lines, he doesn't have a bug phobia and he doesn't obsessively wash his hands. HOWEVER, the boy washes them often. He definitely follows the guidelines of good handwashing which may not be obsessive for an adult but definitely is a bit more than your typical 12yo boy, kwim?
We have definitely seen an increase as well in this behavior in the last couple weeks. But he just got his first "girlfriend", we are starting the birthday season (dave today and his in 2 weeks) and we just went back from christmas rush. All stressors and when things settle down some for him so will the behaviors. Till then we just ignore the flapping and try to have patience for the noises and loud lines.
