Joshua made First Class in his Boy Scout Troop! He is so proud of himself. He has been hanging on the edge with his 2nd and his 1st class rank since last year. He loves scouts he loves to camp. It is the one area Josh really wants to do. He pushed for this and now he is ready to push on for his merit badges and he is pushing for more. He really wants to make Eagle Scout.

Of course I wish this enthusiasm went through to some of his other areas like school but still it just proves to me that when Josh wants something he will push for it.

He also turned 13 this past Saturday and he is going with his Aunt and Uncle into the city to see the Blue man group. This weekend.

Oh he does! He is at the point where thinks he knows it all. He is supposed to go to homework club every Tues, Wed, Thurs for extra help with it and He has been trying to avoid it. He claimed because there is a kid on his late bus who has been bugging him. Plus some how I don't know who started it. But their was a rumor floating around that he was dating a girl he knows which is not true.

The rumor claimed Josh started it. I know its not true. Josh isn't even up to that stage in his world. And he is just not that type od kid to start that type of rumor. Josh knows the girl from Elementary school plus her brother is in Josh's troop. And she will keep an Eye out on him. But that's it they are not even in any of the same classes. But I think someone to start trouble with her and I don't know why Josh was the selected thing to tease her with. I know Josh would never do that. He doesn't tease people and who doesn't like it period. And again he is nto even up to thinking about girls. At least in that way. And I am sure, knowing Josh if someone does approach him like that to tease him. Josh usually just walks away if he can. And doesn't even try to acknolwedge the person. So not sure if someone is taking advantadge of that either. I don't know how to fix that. I guess that will have to die its own death.

We will see

YAY!!!

Rina that is great news! I am al;so impressed by how well josh can push in certain areas. OK for now they are the one in which he is interested. But it is great to know that he has these skills and can do this stuff. The trick is to figure out how he can transfer those skills to other things, like school projects.

It might be a question of the right incentive.
