I would also like to know if it works.

There are 4 things you cannot recover.
1. The Stone.......after the throw.
2. The Word........after it's said.
3. The Occasion......after it's loss.
4. The Time.........after it's gone.

I have heard of fans being used in the bedrooms to create white noise, would that be loud enough? Or you could just get a small radio & keep it off station.

My daughter used to sleep with an air cleaner in her room because she had allergies when she was little. Now she can't sleep unless there is "noise" in the room so she uses a fan year round. You just gave me a great idea.My Aspie son is a terrible sleeper. Maybe the old air cleaner will get him to sleep through the night!

Edited to add; Timex makes a clock radio with "Nature" sounds. Hated it as a clock radio but the sounds were o.k.

We used to have a white noise machine. It worked very well. Now Haley just uses a fan (so do I). The fan works fine for us if it is on high.

We got one for Siobhan when she was a wee mite. DH swears it made a difference and insisted on putting in on in her room. Of course he wasn't the one getting up to go to her 3-5 times per night.

Dee,

Don't laugh but the only thing that worked for Ella was an Enya cd that I put on repeat. Something about her voice seemed to calm Ella.We used it som much the cd nearly wore out and I was convined Ellas first words would be in gaelic but no such luck!

I use white noise machines in both my kids rooms because they sleep so early. For Jaidens room, I use a Honeywell 8 inch fan. It provides great noise. For Anya's room, I use a Brookstone Baby Noise Machine. It doesn't work as well as the fan for some reason....

Good luck
