Well Adam is wearing the Thomas costume he couldn't wear last year cause of the monsoon of a rainstorm we had here last year. Heck the thing cost $20 so you bet your bippy he is gonna wear it again.....
I also attended an adult party over the weekend and I was Little Ms Muffet and my DH was a Midevil Knight

OMG Nora you guys are adorable!
Hey all,
This year in our house it's star wars all the way baby!
Jake will be a clone trooper and Ella will be Darth Vader( I swear she picked it herself but it may have something to do with the fact her brother talks about star wars 24-7).I tried to get her to be prinncess leia but she was having none of it.
Hey everyone!
Well this year aughta be fun! Chey is old enough to trick or treat and actually SAY trick or treat! Dakota is going as a red power ranger, and chey is going as a cute lil punkin ! I had to hide the costumes when we bought them cuz ds was perseverating on it so bad! I will be glad when ToT is over and he can wear this thing to his heart's content!!! Have fun and be safe out there everyone!!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!!
Euan (9, Aspie) is going to be the same skeleton as he's been for about 3 years and I just hope like hell he can get into the costume - we had the mother of all tantrums when he had to be a Harry Potter character last year for cubs and we couldn't find a skeleton in any of the books. Rohan (4, NT) can't decide between superman, batman or a knight, and I am trying to veto the knight on the grounds that it comes with altogether too much weaponry. Maeve (23m, NT) won't go trick or treating as it involves being near Euan and his scary costume so she will stay home and help Nana hand out/eat the candy. Or maybe I can persuade Nana to go trick or treating so I can guard *ahem* the candy....:-)

Elizabeth... my dd (10yo aspie) wanted to be Gaara too! She loves that character with a passion. LOL
This year, Haley is going to be a devil but its more of a devil "diva". LOL She's all decked out in red sparkles/sequins from her horns down to her shoes. She loves the costume and wears it all the time.
Last year, she was a fairy. I guess this year she decided to move over to the dark side. :D

Jill--I'm so glad someone else knows who Gaara is!
Sam(8) was going to go as Ash (from Pokemon.) I was grateful, that just involves clothes ! No building sewing and little buying of stuff we'll never wear again. So we found a vest at the thrift store and I fashioned a pokemon hat with some felt.
Harrison (2.5) decided to be Diego, Dora the Explorers cousin. We found a Rescue pack at the toy store for $10 and it came with a bunch of board games.....awesome. We had a vest and I printed out a Diego badge and animal computer thingie from the NIck jr. Website.
We went to a Halloween party on Fri. The felt all came off of Sam's costume. Harrison took off the vest and back pack.......so they in essence were themselves because noone could tell they had costumes on. It was really lame!!! LOL
We had to go get a b-day present afterward and the toy store had *real* costumes on sale. Sam found an Optimus Prime and Harrison found a cowboy one. They both like them alot, they didn't cost a ton, and I didn't have to do anything!!!
I have to work Halloween night so no ToT for me......I am totally bummed. Halloween is my favorite holiday :(

Ooooh yes. I know Gaara very well. LOL! Naruto is Haley's favorite thing too right now. Her older sister got her into it and now it is a full blown obsession. She talks to everyone she sees about the characters. Unfortunately most people look at her like she's from Mars because they have no clue what she's talking about. I have to tell them to just nod and smile. LOL
That is so neat that you're able to make the costume and very cool that he made the gourd!! I may have to try that with Haley next year if she's still into it. :)

Eric (5) is going to be "Mater" as in "Tow Mater" from the movie "Cars."
I thought it was going to be a real challenge when he told me that was his idea.
