In fooling around on my computer looking up silly stuff i came across this web page and it was weird. I was looking uo info about Little House on the Praire the TV show. I didn't know nor did I ever figure this out. But now we can watch the show to see if we could pick it out. The kid who played Albert, Matthew Labortaeux, was autisic.. I would never have know that. Did any of you? But the link included some other names.. can you find some others?

Let me know if the link worked.

Hi Rina,

Was albert the mean girls little bro? Can't remember her name.

The website this is from (in McClean County, IL) is about 30 minutes from where we live...and even though the city of Bloomington (which is biggest city is McClean County) is less than half the size of Peoria, where we live, their services are far superior. In fact, we drive 40+ minutes to see our child psych. whose office is in Bloomington.
I hadn't visited the website since they updated it...looks good! Thanks for drawing it to my attention.

Your welcome. I just thought it was an interesting fact. It makes you wonder who else is out there that would be considered autisitic. I am guess in Matthew's case if he was an Aspie? The Asperger's syndrome itself has been around for a long time. But not a commonly know dx back then. but since his parents had the money? Maybe it was easier to find the "better" doctors. I mean how did his parents know he was autistic? I was trying to find more info but not having any luck. Doesthat make sense. Same with Crispin.. what tipped the parents off.

thank you, Amy, for bringing the McClean county info to my attention. If we were ever to move back to IL, we'd look in the Bloomington area (DH is in insurance software). We're pretty happy where we are right now, but we've always liked the Bloomington area.
