Aughhh!!!! All I ask is for him to answer "YES" or "NO". Not ya,huh, mumble, etc.
Is it that difficult? I can tell when he's headed downhill because the answers become jumbled. After school, he had to clean his room, hang up his clothes and pack a bag for swim/school tomorrow. He played the guitar. When I told him to do his chore the ya's started. Then he started facing the walls while talking to me.He made his salad with feta cheese that had turned bad.He started screaming at me because it was in his salad. He put it in there. It might be a nite for melatonin.

Wow, I hope you all slept well last night :)
Sounds to me like he needed to de-compress afterschool.
Nathan is just the opposite. Once I teach him something, he does it without me even having to remind him. It's my NT, that sits around and takes forever to do something!! lol The only time Nathan takes awhile to do something is when he "spaces" off. Stressful, busy days...tend to do this. But normally, he is a rule follower and gets his stuff done!
