Here goes....I'm Chrystee (soon to be 32) married to Casey (37) for soon to be 9 years. We have 2 sons, Sam (7) AS, ADHD and reading and math disabilities who I visit here for. And Harrison (14 months.) so far NT but definately a handful! We live in MA.

Interesting fact......I'm a freelance Illustrator though I haven't actually had an work yet......but I figure if I keep saying it someday it will happen. My illustration prof. senior year in college was Christie Brinkley's first husband! Weird.

I'm Jennifer (35 in August), married to DH (34) for 6.5 years. We have two children: Sylvia (4 y.o.) is PDD-NOS, and attends a self-contained spec. ed. preschool class 5 mornings a week, where she receives ST, OT, and PT. She'll be doing the extended year program and will be in the same class next fall. Sebastian (2 y.o.) has a speech delay but has been declared otherwise NT by our dev. ped. We live in upstate NY, although I'm originally from Boston.

Interesting fact: I have my Ph.D. and, before the kids came along, I used to teach college English, creative writing, and women's studies. I'm happy to be out of academia, but I still harbor secret desires to write the great American novel!

I'm Jill, 35, in Upstate NY. I lived in St. Louis for 24 years and still consider it home however. My husband of 10 years is active duty Air Force. We have two kids:

Erin (18) - she graduates high school next week and is vert excited. She isn't ready to head off to college yet though. She's a very easy going kind of kid and is my quiet one.

Haley (8) - We are still awaiting diagnosis of AS but that is the road we are headed down. She seems to fit the bill. She is in 3rd grade right now but is doing home study at this time. After our move last summer, she didn't handle things well and the school year fell apart rather quickly. She couldn't handle it. For next year, we are looking at a special ed classroom for her that is a smaller setting.

Interesting fact: My dh and I met online. He was stationed in Alaska and I was in Missouri. I flew up to meet him and we hit it off. We were married 3 months later. We spent a year in Alaska... where Haley was born. I miss it terribly.

Hi! I'm Crystal (32), married to Chris (35) who is in the Army and deploying in less than 8 weeks. Mommy to CJ (9, AS) and Matthew (5, NT).

CJ has AS and receives OT, ST and minimal support from the Spec. Ed department at his elem school. He is 9 and going into the 4th grade. He is the kindest person I've ever met. We are spendidng the mornings this summer building his math skills. He teacher in 3rd grade (LONG story) really dropped the ball with his class. He can multiply, if given ample time, but was supposed to be introduced to division during the last grading period. He class was not introduced to it, so insetad of keeping his math skills current, we are having to teach skills that he should already have known. But I look at it as bonding time.

Matthew is entering Kindergarten in the fall. He is ALL boy and can be as rotten as dirt. But cute as can be. And the best part of it is my boys balance eachother out and teach eachother different coping skills. They are the best of friends.

Interesting fact: As a freshman in high school, I wrote an editorial for the city news paper that really irritated the Department of Energy and had D.O.E. goons show up at my school demanding to know where I got my info. It was GREAT!

Oh, and I was once on a talk show! Lol!

Valerie (29) recently separated and much better for it! Lucky mom to Matty (almost 4) ASD and Austin (3) PDD. We live in Rochester NY.

I work for a company that provides early intervention and preschool services to children. I am the Autism Services Assistant and Parent Associate. I really enjoy my job and it's great because it will grow as the ability for me to work more grows as the boys get further into school.

What you may not know about me--I recently found "someone" new who is great. He is wonderful, knows all about the boys and loves them too! I am very happy after going through such a rough time earlier this year.

Nice work Paula! Had it said roll call, I might have rolled right by! ~V

I'm Jane (45) mom to ds Noah (9) AS - very recent dx - it's all happened in the last 5 months. He has been in a gifted school for 3 years and did OK but we are most likely going to homeschool him for awhile. He gets group therapy/social skills once a week and this week got to go to a movie with 2 friends, go to the local pool with a friend AND play outside with the neighborhood kids - for us that is HUGE!

My husband (Chuck-46) and I have been married 12 years and got married at the drive up chapel in Las Vegas - Joan Collins and Michael Jordan have been married there too.
