Hi Liz,

I'm glad you came out of lurkdom.

It is normal to feel a huge range of emotions when going through this process. I remember well

Hi Liz and welcome,
I am glad that you found your way here! There is a wonderful group of ladies here that give some really excellent advice, and some great shoulders to cry on! I hope come back often, and that things go well with the evaluations.

Hello Liz-

Like you said my daughter has been difficult and maybe "quircky" too since day one, and we just "went with it" as well.

Wow. I can't tell you how much it helps to hear other moms say such similiar things. The more I read about the visual illusions the more I feel that they are probably "Alice in Wonderland" syndrome rather than seizures. Garrett remembers what he is doing before, during, and after the episodes and I don't know of any physical changes at all. So I am hopeful that the neuro will be another "better safe than sorry" visit and will chalk up the episodes to just another odd thing that little kids (especially Garrett) do.

I am just an occasional lurker here, but I wonder if maybe your son has synesthesia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia
