I'm new here, but not new to the wonderful world of Asperger's syndrome.
"All or nothing, baby!"
Hi Tia and welcome.
Hi Tia and welcome to the board.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you too. We have chat here twice a week: Thurs and Sat at 9 EST. It's a lot of fun and you definitely get to know people. So jump on in!

Hello Tia and welcome to the board.
Well, Nate sounds like quite a character. I had to laugh about trying to teach him to break a rule. That certainly rings a bell with me, although my to are not quite so rigid anymore (not all the time, anyway!).
I am sorry that you are looking down both barrells of losing your husband. I can't imagine how difficult that must be for you. I can see how this would have no meaning to Nate right now. We have had this subject come up from time to time here, and I think Spectrum kids (most kids)cannot comprehend such a large and abstract concept as death. I lost my mom when I was five and it took several years for it to sink in with me.
Please feel free to hang out here as much as you need. We always welcome newcomers to share, offer advice or support on any topic. Also post as many questions, vent or cry as much as you need to. This board is a safe place where the people get it and don't judge.
