Hi and very big welcome. I am always in awe of those who op;en their home to a child who needs a family, congrats!!! A huge positive for you is getting the dx of Asperger's so young, thus helping with services and therapy. It usually is far into grade school before a dx is given or even considered. I have two with ASD myself and they are polar opposites; I have one who had tantrums from birth (literally the screaming began the first night in the hospital). My younger ds (6) is my mellow, laid back guy. His issues are primarily, inattentiveness during unstructured time, social issues and speech. He is acting out a bit more now, but at age 3 he was the Stepford child, lol,

You're lucky to have a dx so young. Many children don't receive their dx until well into their school years or sometimes even until adulthood! The dx doesn't change anything, but it does help you access the proper therapists and cope with behaviors.
This is a great group of ladies who really have been there, done that with alot of stuff. They are always willing to share, commiserate, and generally support you. Hopefully you'll keep posting and we'll get to know you better.
