New Here!

Hello all! My name is Dina and I am new to the board. I have a wonderful family! My Husband Jason and 5 year old son Michael and one on the way! My son Michael was diagnosed with ASD when he was 2 1/2, and last month he was reevlauated and this neurologist diagnosed him with Aspergers Sydrome. He didn't start speaking until he about 3 and even now he still has trouble. He has come a long way in the past 3 years. His meltdowns have gotten a lot better. He plays with other kids now. He is very smart, he has been reading for almost a year now. School is very good for him, I just don't like the school very much. We just moved to Connecticut, and as much as I like CT more then VA I LOVED the schools in Virginia Beach better then Groton. But when you are a miltary family you just learn to go with it! Anyway, that's my story for now. I look forward to chatting with all of you in the future!
