Hi all! I've been searching the web for a good ASD message board for awhile now.
I have 2 young sons both have an ASD dx. My oldest is 3 1/2 and my youngest will turn 2 in Ocotber. My youngest was diagnosed at 14 months. Yep, pretty early, but I noticed his tendencies pretty early on after seeing them in my oldest and his mchat was pretty telling as well.
My oldest is in preK right now his IEP is coming up after a battle to get him re-evaluated. And my youngest is receiving state services after a long battle for that too. LOL.
I'm excited to be part of this community!!

It's awful the way we have to fight for services for our kids, it shouldn't be this hard when they can benefit so much especially when you can start them early. How is preK going for him so far?

WHen is the IEP meeting?
I've had trouble with the school ever since Nathan hit 3 (change from state to school) for some reason the school doesn't think he needs help although everyone around him can see he needs it
