Who else is sick or has health stuff going on?

  • I have been disgnosed with a chronic condition
  • I have been diagnosed with more than one chronic condition
  • I have had odd vague SX for a long time, but thought it was poor diet/ exercise
  • The doctor told me it was "stress" (or some other BS)
  • I have been to several doctors, no DX
  • I don't have a chronic condition, but I catch every bug going
  • I am never sick
  • I probably qualify for my own episode on"Mystery Diagnosis"
  • I did have problems but resolved them with... (please post)
  • Other (please post)

I just seem to be tired all the time. I try eating well and exercising and it does help. But there are some days that I eat less well and just don't feel like going for a walk (or don't have the time) and I feel like crap most of the morning.....until after dinner and then I feel great. I'm thinking of putting the little one into daycare or preK in Jan. when he's 2yrs 9 months a couple mornings a week so I have some time to paint. I hate to have to pay someone so I have a few hours to get some painting done. But by the end of the day, after homework, getting Sam to his appts., dinner, bedtimes...etc I really don't feel like "working" on the nights I'm not actually going to work (I work retail a couple nights a week and weekends.) I'd love to get my freelance illustration thing going so I can quit the night time job, but it's difficult to do and that is getting me wayyyy down on top of the everyday challenges I face with Sam, school and a hot tempered 2 year old. DS #2 is still very sweet though and makes me want to have another one - I must be insane!

DE-PRESS-ION. Both dh and I suffer from it. I manage it with exercise, healthy eating, journaling, long phone conversations and now, mood stabilizer. Dh manages by long hours on his computer playing games and brooding...

Definitely huge history of depression on both sides of our families, also super brainy folks. But until Malcolm, no history (that we know of) of any ASD. We'll see moving forward, so far no cousins either.
