Has anyone experienced behavior change after surgery?

Hi everyone, I am not on here very often but wanted to see if anyone has experienced the same problem I am having with my daughter. My daughter was born with a cleft lip and palate and has been in speech since she was two but talking very nasally and no one could really understand her. In June she had the P Flap surgery to help with the speech. What an amazing surgery! She went from barley talking at all to talking non stop. That part is great but it seems now that she is able to communicate her personality has changed drastically. She went from being such a good girl to being a terror. She just turned 4 so I was thinking it could be her age as well but it is so weird. Even in school she was in Pk-3 last year and had no problems. This year in pk-4 she is being disrespectful to the teacher and being mean to other kids. In the past this would be very unlike her. My husband and I both keep saying how weird it is that after her surgery she is a totally different kid. Was wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this issue. Thanks Sharon

It would be surprising that it would have such a huge affect on her behavior, although I doubt that drastic of a change would just be the normal 4 naughtiness. Is she able to explain why she is being mean to other kids?
