I have no idea if I'm in the right place or not, but didn't know where else to post this question.

Hi -

My little girl had a stomach virus last April (she was 2.5 yrs old) and it really knocked her out. There were a few days that she could not even stand up and the recovery took 2-3 weeks. During that time she could only walk short distances and spent a lot of time laying on the floor or crawling. It took a lot longer for her to bounce back than I expected and I was also really worried. If you see him gaining strength day by day, even slowly, then I would not be too concerned.

Also, I am not sure if he is drinking milk yet, but these viruses can make kids temporarily lactose intolerant. My daughter threw up a week after recovering because she drank milk on an empty stomach. I thought she was getting sick all over again and was freaking out!

Hope he is feeling better soon.
