Hi, everyone. My DD has Down syndrome. She is 15. We homeschool. She loves to read. She reads at about a 6th grade level. She is at different grade levels for different subjects. Her most challenging subject is math, because it's mostly analytical and logic. She also loves to write, though we are working on paragraph structure and story writing this year.
All this to ask if anyone can recommend any apps. We have found a few, but wonder if there are any that you love and would recommend. We would love to have some for sentence/paragraph structure. She is realistically at about a 3rd grade level.
Some that we have found are SpellingCity, Word Search, Pizza 1, Kidioms, ABC Cursive, Zoom, MathBoard, Read On Sight, Tell Time, Doodle Dandy.
I look forward to hearing from y'all on this! Thank you. :)
McGraw Hill (the textbook company) has several apps that might be good for your daughter. If you search in iTunes they should come up for you, they have some fun math ones.
Since your daughter loves to read, have you checked if your local library offers books online? My library uses the app Overdrive and I love it! You can request books that you want to read if they aren't available, and it will email you when it you can download it.

I don't think you'll find many mama's on here with older kids with Down syndrome. I'm going to share a few links that might help you (and CM-Melissa if you want to remove this if it is a vio, feel free):

There is another great list - I'll try to dig it up and post it!
