my daughter a former micro preemie has qualified for ABA ..she is 2 now.Can anyone shed light on this?

they said that they preferred being conservative.She is a micro preemie her birth weight was 908gms.I just contated EI now she is 2+ so they probably thought u know let her get the best help available? I dont know.


everyone says she is bright ,I sent her to a home based daycare center a couple of times and they were totally impressed with her..they told me all my worries were just a waste ,her OT also told a couple of times she is bright..I have no opinion so far..I just dont care for a bright/not so bright kid.What I want is a kid who does not hv issues with food texture noise etctec..who

It does sound like it should be a good thing, because it would mean that she would qualify for PT, OT, etc.

based on her SPD , her behaviour during evaluation , delay in speech probably.I was sick so I never went but it is a good thing right?she does goto OT/ST once a week.She is just not functional , she never plays .SHe has imitative play but its limited ..
