Hi Ladies,

I was wondering if you could help me with some book recommendations for SID. I am looking to get a few on amazon. Thanks,

I have read so many books! The first 2 I read for SID were "The Out Of Sync Child" and "The Out Of Synch Child Has Fun" - I thought they were both pretty good and have a lot of great ideas. I also read "Sensational Kids" and thought it helped explain everything well. I read "Raising A Sensory Smart Child" too and it was just okay. There is one for kids that Aidan's counselor at school actually told me about and it is good for when kids start school, it is called "Arnie and His School Tools: Simple Sensory Solutions That Build Success". I think I learned a little from each book, I kind of just take bits and pieces from each that make the most sense to me and our situation. I have read other parenting books too and "Transforming the Difficult Child - The Nurtured Heart Approach" is a great one. Good Luck and happy reading!

Another vote for "Sensation Kids" from me! Thought it was "parent friendly" and had some good ideas.
