Oh no! Please tell me January is over and it is FEBRUARY! It has been a long January for us.

I have a soon to be 5year old DS who is a SENSORY SEEKER> All capitals!

We are at a crossroads and are looking into some other mood disorders and have a big appointment on Tuesday. Hoping to find some meds that can help...he needs more than OT and ST!

I'll post more later.

Hope...Believe...Celebrate!

I'm Trina.... oldest son is Nathan, he will turn 5 in march -- can't believe it! He is definitely a sensory seeker.

Ilana is 4.5 years old and a sensory seeker, too. She has hypotonia (low muscle tone), so she has to wake her muscles up by jumping around an crashing into things. . . lovely.

Hi. I have CME, a five-year-old boy with SID and dyspraxia. He's a modulator, very sound sensitive, bumper-crasher, squishing boy!

Also, Matty, a two year old, speech delayed boy, who loves to copy everything Big Brother does!

DS is 5 (6 in March) and I guess he's a sensory seeker?? Perhaps he is but low muscle tone makes it so it's not to obvious. OT says it's tactile &

My little sensory seeker does have auditory filtering issues (Fears loud noise) so yes it is possible. Lol she's not afraid of her own noise level though.
