So frustrating trying to find an OT in my area for Garret to see. Tried Family & child service of York, nope they only go to age 3 for EI, Easter Seals was listed online being close with OT's, nope must have closed that office, as the closest they could get me was 2 counties away, Now I called my local hosptial's

I had to come back, I followed a link when looking up the Sensational Kids book, and after a few clicks I found a location just down the road from me that specializes in working with kids with SID and other issues. The OT is out till June on maternity leave but they took all my info and excited to meet Garret. They actually are a new facility, so this was a lucky stumble for me. They also recommend a book Too Loud, Too Bright, Too Fast, Too Tight: What to Do If You Are Sensory Defensive in an Overstimulating World and sent me the Amazon link....I laughed and told her she made the sunshine on this Rainy day.

I'm glad you were able to find one so close to you, that's got to be a relief.
