Getting so fustrated!!!!

First off, hello to everyone. My post title was a little harsh, but it does show my frustration. My 4 year old seems to have some type of sensory issue, at least to me. His bath water has to be almost cold, he doesn't like warm water. He'll scream that it's hot when I know it's not. He hates tags, he says they make him itch so I have to buy tagless or cut them off. Finally, I'm not sure what this is but he is so sensitive to pain. He fell from running, no big deal, he wasn't hurt, skinned his knee, no blood but anyone within earshot would have sworn his leg had fell off. Anytime he gets a cut, he falls, something falls on him, he goes ballistic like it's the worse pain ever. I've discussed it with his pedi, who referred me to Early Intervention. He was evaluated, and they said he didn't have enough of a delay to qualify for services. He was above level on all on all areas except for the sensory part. I went back to his pedi, told her the results, and she basically said that we have to go with the results of the evaluation. I'm at a loss, and I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions that you can offer will be greatly appreciated. TIA...

Has he been looked at by and OT? If not I would recommend that or if he was could you find a private OT to do it?

I would see a private OT if you can.
