Hi-
I haven't posted here in a while, things are crazy busy for us, we are moving on Saturday and our new house wont be ready until mid July so we are in temporary housing until then.

Has anyone tried "solisten" program? Kaia has been doing Therapeutic Listening for 1 1/2yrs now and the new therapist we will be using suggested this listening program for her. I would love some input from someone who used it. Kaia has had amazing results from the current program we are using, but she has listened to all the CD's and we still have some things that didn't fix.

thanks
Alison

Hi Caren-
Things are crazy, but hopefully we will move on schedule and be settled into our new house soon.

Marin is doing great, completely opposite of Kaia in personality, but they get along very well which is nice. I am noticing recently some sensory issues so I want to have her evaluated at some point, but it is nowhere near the degree of Kaia's. Lucky her speech and all her motor skills are way ahead, which is a big relief not to have to go through everything all over again.

Kaia also is having her greatest difficulty with the social speech as well, she is amazing talking to adults, but kids her own age is very difficult for her still. I am sorry to hear about JB's diagnosis, but he's the same kid he was before he got this diagnosis and you are an amazing mom that you were so on top of things way before the doctors knew what was going on.

Have you tried a listening therapy with JB yet? For Kaia that was an amazing therapy for her, it helped her speech, eye contact, social presence etc..... I was a little skeptical about it at first but for her, that mixed with yoga and OT was a godsend for her.

My email address will stay the same, so please keep in touch and let me know how JB is doing. I know you will advocate for him, you are a strong mom!

Hi Caren-
How are things with you?
We are in the middle of moving,we moved out of our house on Saturday and can't close on our new house until the middle of July, so for now we are at my inlaws house.

Kaia is doing amazing, she has really made some huge progress this past year. We are holding her back and having her redo Kindergarten, for social and maturity reasons only. We all think that she will make much more friends and fit in better a year behind her age.

How is everything with JB?
