Since we are on the topic again of commonalities of our children, I thought I would revisit how many of the kids were preemies.

Hi! I'm new here, but have been lurking a while. My DS was born at 35 weeks (according to the ultrasound due date) with no apparent complications. He came home from the hospital after 2 days with no other instructions than to supplement nursing with formula since he was small, 5 lb. 9 oz.

DS is in first grade and will be 7 in May. He just recently started OT at school. His biggest problem is tactile defensiveness with some auditory processing and vestibular as well. He will be starting a listening program at school this week.

Both Michael and McKay were preemies. McKay was a 36 weeker (although, I dilated to a 3 and effaced to 80% at 25 weeks. nearly had the kiddo and so he got magged, and drugged for 10 weeks, before he said, enough!) Michael was a 35 weeker. I also had PIH towards the end with both. I do think it contributed.
