Hyper play would be wrestling around, spinning, running, climbing etc.

You mentioned she is very very smart. From what I was reading on gifted children they tend to have problems with OCd and often wil ave problems with SID. My Hanna is 6 1/2 and we noticed something was different as soon as she started to crawl. She would crawl over to anything that was making white noise- dishwasher, air conditioner, fan, etc and start shaking her head and rcoking back and forth and you could not get her attention at all until the noise stopped.

Hanna is very gifted and everything bothers her from textures, taste, smells, touch, hearing, etc. It is like walking on eggshells somedays and other days we don't have too many meltdowns.
