hi-
i wanted to share this "toy" that my OT had kaia play with and hold.

kaia likes the weighted blankets (we didnt want to get her one because if we travel we'd always have to have it with us if she gets used to it) and loves being hugged tight and being in tight spaces. she also curls up so tight into the corner of her bed and wall. her OT tried this and said she loved holding the doll, since it has a lot of weight to it and can be heated it may help soothe her when sleeping (she can be a restless sleeper). i thought i'd pass on the link in case any of you have a kid like mine.

just so you know: i do not work or even know anyone from this company, i just wanted to pass along the info.

hi-
i am hoping she will love it, you know how kids love things at other peoples houses and then not at their own. i am hoping this will not be the case.

I got Simon heavy stuffed puppy, you can take his insides out and put them in the microwave. His insides also have a soothing lavandar herb mix. I try not to use it all the time so when hes up tight at night I can heat up the puppy and it really helps calm and relax him. I bet it weighs almost 3lbs. and fits nicely on his chest. ~ marfy

hi-
we just ordered it from the company last night, we are giving it to kaia for chanukah.

kaia asks the OT every time she goes to the sensory gym (which is twice a week) if she can hold it.

i'll let you know how she likes it once we give it her.
