Dear Laura,

You are on top of this when your child is so young, and that is great! THere is so much help available for your child at this point in time. Welcome to this board and know that there are many other parents here who have been dealing with SID, if your child turns out to have this diagnosis. And there is big time hope!!! My son is now 7 and wasn't showing symptoms 'til closer to 3 years old, when he started to receive lots of intervention services. He is doing great and has wonderful friends, coping skills, and is such a true charmer that everyone who meets him falls madly in love with him. His sensory issues can still cause problems in a day, but the ways we cope keep us all on track and also, with therapy, his sensory issues are improving and his own management skills are getting stronger.

Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving to you, too.

yours,

Sara
