Last year I
Hugs mama! I can relate. My SID child was turned down for Early Start (early intervention for preschoolers) b/c he behaved too well during the assesment. I had letters from his teachers, doctor, occupational therapist but they still decided that he was functioning just fine. So instead I just continued with our private OT and his preschool worked with me to do things for him in the classroom.
BTW, love the siggy! I am guessing you are a babywearing mommy? I am a babywearing nut.
Just like the other ladies here I send my sympathy's to you.
I hear you! I could not figure out what was the issue with my son, and when the OT did testing at the school he was within or above normal ranges on everything! It was the PT that caught him and saw the real kid-- 26% percentile physical skills is the child I know and love!!
I am not too sure how old your daughter is...but my son is 3.7 years and we just had him in OT and she said the same damn thing!! Ugh.
